About the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain (RCSM)
Did you know the RCSM was officially established on May 12, 1965, just one month after Stone Mountain Park opened on April 14, 1965?
RCSM was founded during a time of national transformation — amid the civil rights movement, protests against the Vietnam War, and the early shaping of the park’s now-famous Confederate carving. Today, our membership reflects the evolving demographics of Stone Mountain and the greater metro Atlanta area. What remains constant is our unwavering commitment to Service Above Self—dedicated to making a lasting impact in our communities through meaningful service and fellowship.
As of May 2025, RCSM has contributed since its charter a total of $446,774 to help improve people's lives.

Community Partner Spotlight: Unity Jazz Foundation
This year, the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain is proud to partner with the Unity Jazz Foundation, an organization committed to preserving the rich legacy of jazz while inspiring and educating the next generation of musicians.
Founded on the belief that jazz is not only an American treasure but a powerful tool for connection and creativity, Unity Jazz Foundation provides youth with hands-on opportunities to explore music, develop their talent, and experience the transformative power of performance. Through workshops, mentoring, scholarships, and live events, the Foundation keeps jazz alive in schools and communities—ensuring that young people discover the soul of this timeless art form.
Thanks to Unity Jazz, our 60th Anniversary Celebration will feature live music by the extraordinary Toni Byrd Quartet, bringing elegance, energy, and a world-class sound to our brunch. Their collaboration has elevated the event and deepened its impact, making this milestone celebration even more memorable.
We are honored to work alongside Unity Jazz Foundation, whose commitment to youth empowerment and cultural preservation mirrors our own dedication to service above self.
